Our Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of network operations, including troubleshooting, project planning, and performance monitoring. This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure and a proactive approach to improving network performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with network hardware and protocols, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently. Requirements What you'll be doing: Leading and contributing to the planning, design, and execution of network-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues arising during project implementation phases, including testing and deployment. Respond to and address incidents escalated by the service desk team. Plan and implement network-related projects, including upgrades, new installations, and enhancements. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to. Monitor network performance to assess the need for updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Recommend and implement options for improving network performance and reliability. Ensure all network documentation and procedures are current and accurate. Create and update network diagrams, configurations, and process documentation. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations. Collaborate with other departments to deliver the best quality solutions. What you'll bring: Experience as a Network Engineer In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Aruba switches, Fortinet, Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls Thorough understanding of switching protocols including VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, and other switching protocols used in Enterprise Networks. Experience configuring Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points. Experience with Voice and SIP call flow troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft Teams and SBCs - Audiocodes experience is a bonus. In-depth understanding and experience of routing protocols. Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec Site to Site VPN's is a must. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. A quick learner with the willingness to learn and study in your own time to further your career.
