Saywell Projects carries out a range of plumbing, Gasfitting, property maintenance and improvements in Darwin, rural and remote areas. We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic maintenance carpenter to assist with our growing operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out various building maintenance tasks in and around Darwin (predominantly Real Estate properties). At times, you may be required to assist our plumbing crew with various tasks The successful applicant must Hold General Carpentry qualifications Hold a drivers licence Hold White Card Be punctual, well presented and have a great work ethic Be honest, trustworthy and take pride in their work Have initiative Have good written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Have a broad knowledge and understanding of building and service systems and components. You will be responsible for the following: Set up flushing and degreasing equipment, including pumps, filtration units, hoses, and boilers for heating. Perform function testing of pumps, flow meters and pressure gauges before initiating flushing activities. Operate boilers and circulation pumps to generate the required temperature and pressure for the flushing and degreasing process.
