The Opportunity We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to deliver exceptional care and lead innovative programs. Employment Options: Permanent Full-Time Fixed Term Full-Time Part-Time or Sessional arrangements available What You'll Do As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will: Provide clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment to children, adolescents, and youth. Deliver leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, including general practitioners, healthcare providers, and community agencies. Oversee the implementation of the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Taskforce recommendations. Chair clinical review processes and ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act and other legislation. Advocate for mental health needs in planning forums and liaise with key stakeholders. Mentor and support mental health staff and general practitioners in a shared care model. Participate in quality improvement projects and professional development initiatives.
