Intensivist – Join a High-Acuity ICU Team in Tropical Queensland Consultant | Full-time or part-time options available Hospital: Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while working in a diverse, high-acuity ICU with strong academic and tertiary hospital links? We are seeking a Consultant Intensivist (FCICM) to join a busy and well-established ICU team providing care to over 1,500 adult patients annually in a 21-bed unit. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of 8 FTE Specialists, Advanced Trainees, and Registrars, with access to structured education, supervision, and research support. The unit is CICM-accredited for C24 with unlimited cardiac, neuro, and trauma exposure and offers a Transition Year with tailored education streams in Education, Echo, Research, or Paediatrics. A broad and complex case mix includes trauma, ECMO, obstetrics, cardiac, oncology, and Indigenous health presentations across a vast regional catchment.
