A regional hospital in tropical northern Queensland is seeking a dedicated FCICM Intensivist to join its growing department. With a 17-bed adult and paediatric ICU, this unit admits over 800 patients annually, including a significant number of complex medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and obstetric cases. The team includes 4 FTE ICU Consultants, well-supported by a full registrar and RMO roster, with a strong emphasis on education, supervision, and exam preparation. The unit holds CICM accreditation (C6) for Foundation and Elective training, with access to terms in Anaesthetics, Clinical Medicine (Cardiology), and Retrieval (by arrangement).
