Position: Consultant Paediatrician – Regional Western Australia We are currently partnering with Western Australia Country Health to assist in the recruitment of Consultant Paediatricians for various regional locations across Western Australia. Positions are available in the Goldfields, Great Southern, Kimberley, South West, Midwest, Pilbara, and Wheatbelt regions. About the Role: As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide high-quality paediatric care across a range of regional hospitals, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care across general paediatrics, neonatal care, and developmental paediatrics. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, including trainees, registrars, residents, and junior medical officers, and contribute to clinical governance and policy development within the department. Our priority is for general paediatricians with an interest in developmental paediatrics to expand services in these high-demand areas, especially as we grow our developmental paediatric services. Remuneration: Salary Range: $321,258 – $431,836 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience Additional Benefits: Generous leave entitlements including long service leave, overseas professional development leave, and more. Location-based allowances such as district allowances, annual travel subsidies, and air-conditioning subsidies. Subsidised accommodation or government housing. Salary packaging options up to $9,010 for living expenses and additional allowances. North West Gratuity Payment – a lump sum equivalent to 12 weeks’ salary after 3 years of service in specific locations. Relocation assistance and professional development support.
