About the Role: As a Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist you will deliver expert psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and hospital-in-the-home settings. In this position, you will: Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment across a varied caseload Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and allied health team members Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives Play a vital role in the education and training of future mental health clinicians About the Department: The Mental Health and Specialised Services division is a dynamic and evolving department, embedded within a major regional public health service. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, integrated mental health care across all age groups, with dedicated teams in: Adult Community Mental Health Child & Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) Older Persons Mental Health Acute Inpatient Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Hospital in the Home (HITH) You'll be supported by a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and peer support workers.
