Join Hive Healthcare as the Director of Medical Imaging! Hive Healthcare is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Medical Imaging to lead our imaging department. Responsible to the Clinical Director - CCCS&I and Executive Director Medical Services for the efficient and effective operation of the Tasmanian Health Service - Royal Hobart Hospital Medical (RHH) Imaging Service, including the maintenance of appropriate standards and the efficient use of resources within the allocated budget. Works in conjunction with the Nurse Unit Manager, Operations Manager, and Chief Radiographer to manage the operational and strategic directions of the Medical Imaging Service. Provides high-level strategic leadership and direction regarding Medical Imaging services, including clinical governance, professional matters, network development and service integration. Undertakes a clinical load with a portfolio of non-clinical work such as research, education, clinical governance and other required work Requirements The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in “relevant occupation” and be registered with the “relevant agency”. Candidates must provide certified copies of requested proof of identify documents for the purposes of general Criminal history and National Police Certificate checks. Declaration of any current, criminal, or significant previous disciplinary proceedings or restrictions on clinical practice. be accountable and responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Service about the quality and safety of the services provided.
