The company is a highly respected logistic company owning a huge fleet of trucks & trailers. The role commands good knowledge and execution skills for repairs and maintenance of our valuable equipment. As a Fleet Manager your main duties will include but not limited to the following: Main Duties Organizing the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel Liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaints Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods Maintaining delivery and pickup records Coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of containers and trucks Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Ensuring fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations Conducting safety training for drivers Implementing vehicle tracking and safety measures Using GPS and Fleet Management software to optimize routes Analyzing fleet performance and making data-driven decisions Monitoring driver performance, behavior, and compliance with safety protocols Managing driver schedules to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance Addressing driver concerns, complaints, and performance issues To be successful in this role you will have to: · Good interpersonal and communication skills · Ability to work as a team member · Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure · Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task Qualifications · Advanced Diploma in Business or above Experience · Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position Apply: If you satisfy the above, please apply without hesitation outlining why you are suitable Email a copy of your resume to: adm******@******.au + click to reveal Please note only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
