About the Role This is a senior position suitable for a committed registrars with significant experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including those undertaking advanced training or preparing for specialist practice. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care across both obstetric and gynaecological services. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the delivery of inpatient and outpatient women’s health services. Providing supervision and mentorship to junior doctors and medical students. Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and on-call rosters. Collaborating with midwives, allied health, and general practitioners to ensure continuity of care in a regional context. About the Hospital & Department The hospital is a key regional referral centre servicing a broad geographic area, offering a wide range of acute and sub-acute services. The O&G department provides 24/7 obstetric cover with a consultant-led model, supporting approximately 400 births annually. Facilities include a modern birthing suite, operating theatres, antenatal clinic, and emergency support services.
