About The Role We are excited to be partnering with Paspaley to operate an exclusive Pearl Farm Tour in Broome. This unique experience showcases the renowned Paspaley Pearl Farm located in Roebuck Bay, with the pearls themselves as the centre piece of the tour. Guests will enjoy a 4-hour experience, which includes a visit to the Paspaley Boutique in Broome before being returned to their hotels. We are currently recruiting a Vessel Master to work alongside the Deckhand/Host in conducting the tour. This position is being offered on a seasonal basis from April to October 2025. Key responsibilities will include: Comply with all aspects of the vessels safety management system and supporting documents, ensure that marine standards are followed, and the vessel is operated in a safe manner Deliver welcome, departure and safety briefings to guests, as well as onboard commentary Assist the guests with transferring on and off the vessel/sealegs in a timely and safe manner Assist in the training of team members to meet the standards of Journey Beyond/Paspaley and develop, lead and support crew on a day-to-day basis Maintain vessel records to the appropriate standard (logs, maintenance records etc using the maintenance management system Helm) Follow the associated processes relating to refuelling of the vessel About You We are seeking an individual with a genuine passion towards delivering memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll be based at our warehouse and responsible for the quality of our e-vehicles. You will come to know our e-vehicles from top to bottom, inside and out, and will be capable of doing anything from quick repairs to total refurbishments if necessary. We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and ensures that Beam’s e-vehicles remain the safest and most reliable vehicles out there. In this dynamic and challenging role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry trainees, interns, Aboriginal Liaison Officers, nurses, and allied health professionals. You will also provide clinical leadership and contribute to daily mental health assessments in the Broome Hospital’s emergency department. Your role will involve delivering high-quality care in a culturally sensitive manner, particularly for Aboriginal communities, which represent the majority of the patient population. You will supervise junior medical staff, ensure adherence to the Western Australian Mental Health Act (2014), and actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of services in the region. This position offers you the opportunity to work in an environment where you will develop a deeper understanding of mental health care within Aboriginal communities and gain exposure to a wide range of clinical cases. Key Responsibilities: Lead a multidisciplinary mental health team in Broome, working across the Kimberley region. Based in Broome, the team provides services to people across the region, working with all age groups and diverse cultural backgrounds. Our facility, Mabu Liyan, is an acute psychiatric unit with 13 beds, delivering culturally safe care in close partnership with Aboriginal Mental Health teams and local community services. The service also offers seven-day mental health liaison services to hospitals throughout the Kimberley, ensuring coordinated care across the region.
